Maestri saves old man in jail

Rowdies in Jail started teasing an inmate named Mestri but he remained calm. Maestri kept giving them hand signals not to trouble him. But the rowdies kept troubling him.

One old man started giving advice to rowdies not to trouble Maestri. “He is like us. He was not arrested for doing and rowdism like you all. He is a man who brought a change in us. Please do not trouble him.”

Rowdies got angry at the old man.

One rowdy said, “What are you saying?”

He picked up the old man with one hand and the let him go. The old man fell down on the ground. The rowdy put his leg on the old man’s chest.

Seeing this, Mestri got angry. He got up and started kicking the rowdies around the cell. They all fell down shouting with pain.

Suddenly SP entered the cell with his men. He looked at the fallen men and then at Maestri angrily. “This is not a playground to play football. This is jail.”

Old man came forward and said, “It is not his fault sir. These Mumbai rowdies were teasing him.”

But SP was not in the mood to listen to the old man’s words. He hit Maestri left and right with his stick. Then he caught hold of Maestri by his neck and pushed him into another cell. “In another 10 days the judgement will come in your favour. Maybe you are thinking that you will be relased.”

He pointed to the men whom Mestri had hit. “If any of these men die, you will have to rot in this jail for another 10 years.”

Maestri said coolly, “You know how to fill air into your plans and I know how to punchure them.”

SP warned. “Tomorrow a local goon is arriving. He is a wellknown body builder. He is arriving only to finish you.”

Maestri remained unmoved. He kept quiet.

Maestri’s friend, Mallesha brought food for him. He pushed the plate under the cell door towards Maestri. “I feel very sad to see you in this condition. You are such a big hero. People from so many villages are waiting for you to be released.”

Maestri said coolly, “Mallesha, don’t worry. Only 10 days are left for the judgement. If god wills, I will definitely come out.”
