CHAPTER 28

Madesha attacks Churi

          Michael and Madesha were sitting at the bottom of a hill. They saw three men come on bikes. They parked their bikes and stood talking. One man moved away talking on the mobile.

Michael pointed to the man. “Watch that bearded man. He is Churi. When he moves sufficiently away from the others, you follow him. Take out your sword and attack his hand first. Hit as hard as you can. The hand must come off. Then hit other parts of his body. Let the different parts fall off. When he falls down, others will attack you. You run away to safety. If you get hurt by chance, I am there. Our gang is there. We will put you in the hospital. If needed, we will even give our blood.”

Madesha got scared. But Michael looked at him seriously. “If you don’t do as we say, our men will finish you off. If you go and finish Churi, you will become a hero. Then your market will rise like anything. Drink this raw rum. Your fear will disappear in an instant.”

He put the rum into Madesha’s mouth. Madesha drank. Michael pushed him forward. Madesha moved towards Churi.

Michael approached Churi and suddenly hit his right shoulder with his sword. Blood oozes out and Churi falls down. Hearing his shout, other two men come running. Madesha ran towards Michael. The two men went to see what happened to Churi.

Michael patted Madesha. “Well done. You have given him a heafy shot. We must run away before Churi gets a chance to inform his boss Chakri who is in jail. Otherwise our deadbodies will fall.”

Michael and Madesha run to the place where they had hidden their bikes. They climb on the bike and move away in high speed.

          Chakri was in jail. His cell rings. It was Churi’s man. He told Chakri about the attack on him. Chakri was very angry. “This must be the game of that Blade. I don’t mind how much you spend, but I want his deadbody to fall. Find out who hit Churi. If you miss, I will get him put into jail by the police.”

“We saw only one man. He must be new to the field. He hit only once. Then he ran without fighting with us. But the blow he gave fell on the right place.”

Chakri was very angry. “That Blade’s dead body must fall. I want to drink his blood. I must show that new comer who I am.”

          Blade had already changed his hideout. Michael took Madesha to him. Madesha was shivering with fear.

Blade patted Madesha’s back and kept a bottle in front of him. “This is common when you are new to the field. When the wine goes inside you, it wil make you strong. Seeing blood will become a common thing to you.”

Madesha took the bottle and drank the wine. “Please let me go now. I want to go to my house.”

Blade laughed crookedly. “Go home? If you go out, you will land yourself in the cemetery. The police must already be looking for you. And Churi’s men will not allow you to live any more. Stay here for another 15 days. By that time, if that Churi dies because of your blow, I will reward you handsomely.”
