All are happy

          Inspector Chandru phoned CI Ashok. “What you said is true. Not a single rowdie is alive. He has finished them off single handed.”

Ashok laughed. “He is not an ordinary man. I can get the jobs which I used to do as encounter specialist done by him now.”

“I have written the case report as gang war. MLA is shouting hoarse as if his own son has died. Chakri was his right hand. But the villagers are having a party today.”

“But we must protect him. That will be a good deed done by our department. There are many more rowdies in my list.”

          Maestri reached home and took bath. Wiping his head, looking at his mother, Maestri said, “Mother, if the non-veg food is ready, give me in a plate. I will go and give it to sleeping Madesha. He will get up and eat happily.”

Maestri kept the plate with non-veg food near Madesha’s grave. “I have finished off all those who were involved in your death. Get up and eat happily.”

          Maestri returned home and sat with others to eat non-veg dinner happily.

Looking at him, Sakamma said, “After Madesha died, after so many days, it is the first time that you are eating so happily.”

With satisfaction and happiness, Maestri said, “He will also eat with satisfaction today. His soul will lie in peace.”
